Greek/German heavy metallers MYSTIC PROPHECY are entering the studio once more. For the coming months MYSTIC PROPHECY will be recording their 7th studio album entitled Raven Lord. This is going to be their first release with their new drummer Claudio Sisto who joined MYSTIC PROPHECY last June. Raven Lord will be released on October 28th 2011 through Massacre Records. During the same period the band is planning on touring and hitting most festival stages around Europe.

Recordings will take place in Prophecy Music Factory studios (www.myspace.com/musicfactory_prophecy)  and production duties will be handled by R.D. Liapakis (MYSTIC PROPHECY, SUICIDAL ANGELS, VALLEY´S EVE, INSIDEAD and more ) with the rest of the band. There will be 11 songs on the new album. Artwork will be delivered by Jonas Kawalek who has worked again with the band in the past for their 5th album Satanic Curses.

METAL HEART Webzine was created in 2007 after Bea left a former webzine. (...that can remain unnamed).

She really had a passion for the Music ! She loved music FOR THE MUSIC, not to pretend to be some kind of "know-it-all" person. She simply loved discovering new bands, and being in touch with people from all around the world  that share the same passion. She also had a significant role in creating our label INFERNÖ Records.
She was extremely passionate, humble and simple...

She proved herself to be a very strong and courageous person ! She fought her battle with  fuckin' Cancer for two long years before slipping away from us in her sleep, on the 26th of February, 2011  ... she didn't suffer.
Her strength & courage will, forever remain, a cherished inspiration to myself and the loved ones she left behind.

I've decided to continue writing reviews and doing interviews to keep "METAL HEART Webzine", and Bea's passion, alive...

Pure, relentless, frantic - Swedish all-female metal band FranticAmber pushes the boundaries harder and faster with the release oftheir debut 5 track EP, "Wrath of Judgement". The release of a video clip for the title track "Wrath of Judegment" in late 2010 generated enormous worldwide interest in the band and led to the decision to release the 5 track EP rather than wait for completion of a full length album. Guitarist Mary says "We are so happy and proud to finally get our EP released ! Looking back on all our hard work and seeing it has paid off feels great !".
In support of the release, the band are taking to the road in March 2011 and heading to Russia.
Vocalist Elizabeth comments "We are ever so grateful for all the support we've seen from all the people around the world and can't wait to go out on tour to share our music with you all !".
The concept of Frantic Amber was created in 2008 by guitarist Mary, looking to create an all-female band with the power and attitude more commonly associated with male metal bands. Drawing members from different nations together in Stockholm, the band spend 2010 writing, recording and gigging. The EP "Wrath of Judgement" is the end result of that process.

Brazilian female-fronted Metal band SHADOWSIDE recently received three very special guests in the studio. Singers Mikael Stanne (Dark Tranquillity), Björn "Speed" Strid (Soilwork) and Niklas Isfeldt (Dream Evil) have been at Fredman Studio in Gothenburg, Sweden, to record their performances on "Inner Monster Out", song that is going to be on the tracklist of the band's new album.
 
At this moment, Dani Nolden (vocal), Raphael Mattos (guitars), Ricardo Piccoli (bass) and Fabio Buitvidas (drums) have just finishing all recordings and are finishing touching up the last details on the third album. In charge of the production is Fredrik Nordström, one of the most important Rock/Metal producers nowadays.
 
Record label SHP Records, distributed by Universal Music, has scheduled the release date for June 7th, 2011.

Thin Lizzy manager Adam Parsons told the BBC that Gary Moore has died on Sunday morning in his hotel room in the Costa Del Sol (Spain) where he was on holidays. No more infos about the circumstances...

Gary Moore played with artists including Phil Lynott and Brian Downey as early as his secondary school days, leading him to a membership twice with the Irish Rock band Thin Lizzy. Gary Moore has shared the stage with such Blues and Rock luminaries as B.B. King, Albert King, Colosseum II, Greg Lake and Skid Row (not to be confused with the 80's/90's band of the same name), and has had a successful solo career.

The new, ninth studio album of the German True Metal squad WIZARD, will be titled "...of Wariwulfs And Bluotvarwes", and will be released on March25th, 2011, on CD and limited edition vinyl album, through Massacre Records.The concept album, based on the story written by the famous German fantasywriter André Wiesler, was recorded by Volker Leson at the Magic Hall Studioin Bocholt, and mixed & mastered by Achim Köhler (PRIMAL FEAR, SINNER). The cover artwork for the album was designed by Steve Argyle.
