“Ruin” is the second album of the English group Architects. The hardcore of the group is well done but won’t revolutionize the genre. However the tracks have a lot of changing in rhythmic, the vocals are furious and go well with the style of the group, because through these Sam Carter vent us all his anger, his aggressiveness. The guitars playing are rather well done, with variations of playing, sometimes dissonant, often melodic and worked. Besides I think that is what is making the strength of the group: the playing of the twin guitars. The tracks are direct and fast. The compositions are well written but not exceptional… it stays for me a hardcore album among others, now those who appreciate the style will probably like it.
