Two years after “Doomsday Rock’n’Roll” Chrome Division comes back with « Booze, Broads & Beelzebub ». I had found in its time excellent « Doomsday Rock’nRoll » but I think that this one is even better!
I find that this album is more powerful musically and the tracks even more rock’n’roll than the previous one. Eddie Guz’s vocals are well at place, in phase with the tracks. The compositions are well structured all being classic for the genre but they are very catchy, very headbanging with lively refrains. We have very good soli all through the songs and the riffs are melodic all being at the same times aggressive and powerful. The rhythmic section is well present and efficient. The album begins with an intro « The Second Coming » but we enter really in the subject with « Booze, Broads And Beelzebub », good hard rock’n’roll … and it is like this during all the album. The musicians are good and control perfectly their instruments, they are not beginners, and they all are coming from the Norwegian black metal scene except Eddie who is coming from the rock scene;
I can only recommend this album especially if you are a Motörhead fan.
