Huh ! A new US band influenced by the oldest European bands like Tank, SAxon, Motörhead, Thin Lizzy : that was enough to catch my interest and indeed after a first listening, I'm convinced this is a band with great potential ! If you like hard-rocking Heavy-Metal, this is then something you have to experience as soon as possible ! MIDNIGHT CHASER really brings the old Heavy-Metal spirit back - influenced by bands of the NWOBHM and especially those named previously ! There's in my opinion nothing bad to say about this first release (Hmmm... maybe I regret it is only a six-song EP - TOO short !), it rocks with a great vibe, simple but never simplistic and always energetic, efficient & catchy ! I like the vocals alot, they're raging but never aggressive with a sense for melody. Songs are mostly based on mid and fast tempos with always good choruses and breaks. To be noticed the excellent TANK cover "Turn Your Head Around" ! Pure Heavy-Rock, true & honest - GET IT !
