Originally released in 2005 through INRI Records, this full-length album is now re-issued through russian label Witchcraft Productions, specialized in extreme QUALITY black-metal ! DARK DOMINATION hails from Latvia and has been conceived in 1997... The band released its first demo "Blasphemy" in 2001 through BEVERINA Prods, that was later in 2003 re-released through portuguese HALLUCINATION Fanzine. In 2005 came out on INRI Records, that album "Let Satan Speak Through Our Lips" as well as a LIVE VHS called "God s Tormentors Live in CZ" recorded in Czech Republic. And more recently came out in 2006 on EVIL Distribution, the CD "Rebellion 666". I think it's a great thing that WITCHCRAFT today re-releases this band's first album 'cos this one was totally unknown to me so far, and it really deserves the attention of all true Black-Metal fans worldwide ! This new version comes with new artwork - great one in the medieval vein with nice paintings - but hurry up, this is strictly limited to 1000 copies !
I have to admit the production is above all the average underground Black Metal releases, the sound is really clear and gives to the album a very dark unholy atmosphere ! Musically, this band really breaks with the current extreme Black Metal bands by incorporating thrashing riffs and slower parts with always kick ass guitar harmonies, sinister and gloomy interludes and accoustic parts like on the last & bonus track ! This is fast, this is aggressive, this is dark, this is Black Fuckin'Metal ! Vocally speaking, this is raw, this is grim, this is what one can expect from a typical black metal voice - nothing less ! That album wouldn't look bad among the best IMMORTAL, DARK FUNERAL & EMPEROR ones !!!
