« Trouble » is the second album of the group Wolfshade. Wolfshade is a one man band and it is Khadhass who is at this initiative of this project. He sings and plays all this instruments. The style of Wolfshade is an atmospheric depressive black metal. The tracks are relatively long, between 7 mn and more than 11 mn. The atmospheres are dark and melancholic with dark lyrics but also worked with a search vocabulary. They are dealing with the human being, creation, the existence and death. The guitars are saturated at the maximum in most part of the tracks but we also have passages where the guitar is clear and melodic, I don’t know if it is real drums or just a rhythm box but I find it too much synthetic. The vocals are for a great part desperate, shouted, rather in the high pitched note and when Khadhass declaims like in « La Passion » it is rather well done, too bad that there aren’t more declamations because his clear voice goes pretty well with the music. It is certain that a great work has been done on the compositions level however I think that some more arrangements or orchestrations, maybe with the add of keyboards, would give richer tracks in emotion…
