Jam Pain Society releases its first album “Black Light Messiah”. The album is a mix of metal, hard rock, dance, Indus, funk and pop… and the group comes to do something coherent with all these styles. We go through very cold and dark passages to much heavier, furious, dynamic even extreme ones. The group uses a lot of samples in its songs. Leah Kirby’s vocals are much varied; moreover there also is male vocals more choirs like especially in “Monster Mind”. The guitars playing are rather good with well done soli. The musicians control theirs instruments and have a certain talent now you’ll like or not the tracks and personally I did not have appreciated this “Black Light Messiah” as a whole…very certainly because of all the mixes of the styles.
