The Japanese group Infected Malignity has released some months ago “Re:bel”.
After a “Waltz Of The Rebellion”, instrumental track going little by little into power with heavy and melodic riffs and powerful and well rhythmed drums. But it is with « Fictitious Follower (And Conceit Man) » that we really enter into the Infected Malignity’s world. The style of the group is a mix of melodic death and brutal death metal with vocals which have some grind/core influences. The tracks are efficient, energetic and powerful with well heavy riffs and a rhythmic section which is also all that, the drums are hammered in a martial manner. The tracks are fast and aggressive all keeping a melodic part as for example in the of « S.N.D » intro which gives us some lull before to go back again. The tracks are following one another with such a fastness that we are really surprised to be at the end of the album … but it does still do only 23 minute… a notes, blasts and aggressiveness deluge all through this energetic and powerful album that I recommend you if you like the genre.
