“Architecture Of the Dead” is the first MCD of the Finnish group Lie In Ruins. The death metal of the group is much worked especially on the guitars playing level, with rather well done instrumental passages. It is clear that they all are musicians who control perfectly their instruments. The rhythmic section is rather efficient even if I think that it is not always correctly audible, especially on the cymbals level. I did not have particularly appreciated this album that I found too linear in the vocals and in the music. The album has the benefit of a production that I would judge to be an “average” one but which should very certainly pleased the fans of the underground.
