With this third album « Love And Other Disasters », second under Nuclear Blast, Sonic Syndicate follows its little path. I cannot say that the style of the group has changed since
« Only Inhuman » as we have the same shared vocals, clear vocals and core ones, both are well done and complete themselves pretty well. Musically neither, it has not changed. The compositions are energetic, melodic. The influences of In Flames are much present in the tracks especially on the melodies level but… it is well done and well melodic but the group does not take any risks… because this album is based on the bases that has created the group. « My Escape » is one of the best songs of the album. « Love And Other Disasters » is a good album which is nice to listen but without any risks… they should take some « independence » from their influences and create their own music. It is not always pleasant to review an album with voiceover on 9 of the 10 tracks…
