Toxic Holocaust releases “An Overdose Of Death” in a few days. The style is a furious, fast and bad tempered punk/thrash metal and this from the first track « Wild dog ». The rhythmics are fast with much punk influences. The riffs are furious, heavy and powerful and the soli well done, without being exceptional. The tracks sound very old school, energetic at wishes. The vocals are aggressive just as needed, well at place. The rhythmic section is powerful and fast and the drums are a true war weapon ! it is of course not an album which will revolutionize the world and which brings anything new to the genre but it is an album that you’ll take pleasure to listen, a direct and well rhythmic album. Moreover when you know that it is Joel Grind who does everything, instruments and vocals, we can just bow on his talent.
If you like groups such as Venom, Discharge, Exploited, Battery and Motorhead, among others, we will only appreciate this « An Overdose Of Death » that you cannot miss at its release !
