Anticulture Records Release : may 2007 Tracklist « In the Realm Of The Senseless » : You Love It Vacation Unprincipled A Big Comedown Crippled Trash You Are Nothing Promise Wreckage Evilicious No Bomb Is Big Enough Happy Ever After Happy Ever After (Unmetal version) The Senseless is born from the initiative of the Australian grindcore group Berseker’s bass player and “In the Realm Of The Senseless” is the first opus of the group. If you like extreme metal, it is an album which will please you; otherwise you will go your way. This album is composed with brutal, fast tracks, with rather death metal, grindcore vocals parts. The whole of it is extremely complex and could even be qualified of progressive. The songs have complex structures with a lot of breaks which arrive when you don’t expect them and sometimes the songs seem “destructured”. The riffs are heavy, powerful and in general fast. Moreover there is a present Indus side in the music which brings a non negligible touch however I find some tracks somehow boring…. And however they are not long ! We have guests on this album : Old Drake from Evile and Matt Wilcock fom Acercocke, the first on the solo of « Promise » and the second in tapping on « Crippled Trash ». The album has the benefit of a good production which is the work of Russ Russell (Napalm Death, etc…). An efficient album for the extreme metal fans. Line up : Sam Bean (chant/guitare/basse/batterie/programmation/samples) (vocals/guitars/bass/programming/samples) contacts : www.thesenseless.com www.myspace.com/THES3NS3L3SS
