Tangaroa will be releasing in a few weeks its album “One Hand For The Knive, One Hand For The Throat” with Anticulture Records. If you are not “open” musically speaking it is not even to take the time to listen this album, it will be for you just a mix of varied sounds and noises… if you are more open, try it… personally I have not appreciated much the album. First of all because I do not like the vocals, too aggressive, shouted rather than sung in a grind/hardcore manner. Now musically it is sure that a work has been done on the level of the compositions. The tracks could be classified in alternative/progressive. The tracks have very complex structures, with rather different rhythmics. Some tracks seem to be destructured mixing varied influences with a rhythmic section, especially very present drums. The musicians have a undeniable technique and the guitars playings are very important in the compositions.
For the adepts of extreme metal, very extreme one.
