If you are looking for something original it is certainly not this album that you’ll have to listen… but if you like or liked Motley Crüe, Cinderella, WASP and all these glam rock groups of the 80s, « License To Kill » will please you. If this album had been released in the 80s it would not have stained believe me !!! The tracks are fast, furious and melodic with efficient guitars playing and the soli are groovy and well done. The vocals are well at place, perfect with the style but they make me think to teenager vocals who would not have break his voice as he goes very far in the high-pitched notes and that they seem so “young” (of course they are not so old neither…). We find there all the classic ingredients of these years, the rhythmics, the riffs and the very 80s choirs and don’t forget the traditional ballad « No Forever », with a solo all in emotion.
It is an album with which I had nice times listening and which is easy to listen and to appreciate for what it is… a good glam rock album without any pretensions !!!
