Soundshok comes from Scotland and will release its first album “The Bringers of Bloodshed” with Rising Records. The style of the group is a mix of grind/death/core. The vocals are well at place, furious and relatively understandable. Of course the group does not bring anything new and the tracks are not original but they are well structured and rather direct. The guitar is very often ultra saturated and the riffs are relatively simple. The rhythmic section efficient and powerful. I think that the best track of this album is « Isolation Is Power » with a good rythmic and efficient and powerful riffs, without forgetting the chorus of the refrain. The tracks have a lot of well put breaks.
To discover if you like groups such as Sepultura, Slayer, Hatebreed, etc….
