SPV Records/Replica Records Release : august 2008 Tracklist « Phoenix » : HMP Hell Yeah! Just the Tip Mental Health The Juggernauts Death By Disco Be Careful What You Wish For Morse Code For Suckers Ignite Mike Dexter Is A God, Mike Dexter Is A Role Model, Mike Dexter Is An Asshole The Junkie And The Halo Brixton Hit The Ground Two Wrongs Don't Make A Right, But Three Rights Make A Left All for None And None For All Sorry, But Your Friends Are Hot There is the very last album « Phoenix » of the American group Zebrahead. The style of the group takes its bases on punk and alternative but also with vocals which can be compare to hardcore even rap like especially in « Just The Tip »… the riffs are typically punk, a little in the Offspring’s manner and the tracks are rather “happy”. The compositions are well done, efficient, well rhythmed and fast and are mostly for teenagers… at least for the lyrics… It does still is an album which is nice to listen. The vocals are varied and Ali interprets perfectly each one of the songs and the refrains are efficient with very present chorus. The guitars give good playings and the soli are rather good. To be short a dynamic album for the youngest ones … because the “oohooh” in the chorus…
