The Backyard Babies have just released their sixth studio album « Backyard Babies ». The style o the group is still a mix of glam/hard rock/punk/sleaze. It is surely not an album which will revolutionize the world but it is an easy listening album. The tracks are pleasant with good melodies and relatively commercial…. The compositions are simple, musically speaking, with a good rhythm and a catchy melody. Moreover they are well interpreted by Nicke and the musicians control their instruments. The guitars have good riffs, sure relatively simple but efficient and the soli are melodic and good. The ballads « Abandon » and « Saved By The Bells » are also excellent.
The fans of the group should appreciate the album and those who do not know them and who appreciate the style should also appreciate it.
