“Addicted” is the third album of the french power thrash group Insane. The power thrash of the group is direct and efficient. The tracks are interrupted with breaks and the riffs are heavy and powerful and the add of keyboards in the tracks are a real plus for the melodies. That is to say the combination of furious and sharp riffs contrasts with the much more delicate melodies of the keyboards. The vocals are relatively worked and controlled, good mix between aggressiveness and melody. « In True Mental » is a sublime track on the composition level and as well on the melody but also in the emotion …. Only instrumental. The soli are relatively worked with changing in rhythms and the riffs are efficient and sharp.
