Ragestorm, melodic deathcore/death metal Italian group, has just release its demo “Someone Hears ?”. On this album we find two kind of vocals, a clear one and a more death/core one. If the mixes of the genres are in any case revolutionary, it is rather well done with an aggressive side and on the other one the melody. Musically speaking the tracks are rather well conceived with very melodic passages given by the twin guitars. The rhythmic section is well at place and efficient even if the bass could be more powerful. A good work has been done on the guitars level with powerful, melodic and efficient riffs. The compositions have good breaks and the changings in rhythm are well put as especially in « Russian Roulette » which has an excellent guitar solo. If a certain work has been done on the musical level, the lyrics have not been forgotten… Lyrics on the human being.
A group to discover if you like the style. A demo which lets good future perspectives for the group.
