Unsun, rock/metal polish group releases its first album « The End Of Life ». The group is born from the initiative of the guitarist Mauser (Vader). Aya has a very melodic voice, rather high pitched, well at place and has a relatively varied range. The tracks are rather mid tempos even ballads but we also have rock parts. The melodies are catchy with melodic guitars lines and the soli and not much present but when there are some they are successful like especially the one in « Blinded By Hatred », beside it is too bad. The group also uses samples to make the tracks richer musically. Even if it is a good album, it is not exceptional and I’m not sure that it can be taken out of what is released in the same genre. The piano passages are really beautiful like in « Face The Truth ».
At the end Unsun gives us a good album which deserves a listening but which maybe won’t mark our mind.

Line up :
Aya (chant) (vocals)
Mauser (guitare/samples(guitars/samples)
Heinrich (basse) (bass)
Vaaver (batterie) (drums)
