Folkearth has released some months ago “Father Of Victory ». For those who would not know Folkearth, it is a group which is composed with different musicians and vocalists coming from the entire world. The style is a mix of pagan and folk metal and this album is the fourth of the group. Folkearth has a unique style very certainly because its members are all coming from different groups and different countries. The folk passages are very present in the tracks and played with folk instruments and we travel into different countries through their compositions. The group mix skilfully aggressiveness and melody. However I admit having a little deceived by this last album, I had been listening to their previous albums without reviewing them and it seemed to be that they were better than this one, more powerful on the musical level. I’ll have however to admit that it is not an album to throw because you have all the usual ingredients of the other albums and it deserves an attentive listening as it is rich on the musical level.
