Blessed By A Broken Heart release its first album “Pedal To The Metal”. The Canadian group gives us an album where are mix metal, rock, pop and even dance music !!! Some will say that they are making metal for “young people”, it is the case… The group surf on today’s wave. The vocals are a mix of clear vocals and rather core ones. It is a well done album, very coherent; the mix of the genres comes pretty well. « Move Your Body » is a very « dancfloor » track. This album could be a commercial album; it is maybe the case… However the tracks are worked, especially on the guitars playings, with melodic passages and changings in rhythmic and well done soli like especially the one in « She’s Dangerous ». if the album is well done and if the group can be taken out a little from the lot of what is release at this moment it is, I think, because of its guitars playings and its soli.
