Into Eternity has released “The Incurable Tragedy” and this album is following « The Scattering Of Ashes » rather well received in its time. « The Incurable Tragedy » is a concept album dealing with the death of the guitarist and of two of Tim Roth’s father friends. The style is a mix of progressive metal and extreme metal. The vocals are also a mix of clear vocals and screamed one, core, death, rather high pitched. The vocals are well at place, giving emotion or on the contrary aggressiveness. The tracks have different ambiences depending the feeling that the group wants to give like especially the much poignants « The Incurable Tragedy I (September 21, 2006) » as well as the other two « The Incurable Tragedy ». The tracks are well conceived with very melodic passages, very extreme and prog ones. There are good harmonies of the guitars especially on « Diagosis Terminal ». The rhythmic section is efficient, very fast and powerful like especially on « Time Immemorial ».
At the end Into Eternity gives us an excellent album to discover.
