“Assimilated Deformation” is the first album of the death/grind metal American group The Grieving Process released in 2007. The style of the group is brutal death/grind and this album is only 25 minute length…. Hopefully !!! A brutal album, fast but not original at all… the tracks seem not to be finished, too much linear vocals, aggressive at wishes, tracks constructed in the same manner even some well placed breaks. However not everything is to be through away !!! The musicians have a certain technique, there is no doubt on it especially in the riffs which ally technicity and fastness but I have the feeling that this album has been done “quickly” because it is rather repetitive as a whole. To listen and to forget rapidly.
