Dark, cold and unique, so is the sixth album from S.U.P. « Hegemony » is not an ordinary album, it is a different album … Different with unique compositions where are mixed cold ambiences with contrast with the heavy and powerful often saturated even hyper saturated guitars. The melodies are very worked, at the same times haunting, futurist, sometimes bewitching.
S.U.P. has created a unique universe which only belongs to them and which mixes heaviness, cold and alarming ambiences maybe unhealthy and power and rhythm with experimental passages but in no case inaccessible now you will like or not the style of the group. The vocals are varied with growls and clear vocals.
The group explodes new ways of composing, searching each time a musical esthetism, different, adding electro parts, more progressive passages with here and there keyboards, samples and a sometimes martial rhythmic.
S.U.P. gives us with « Hegemony » a worked album in all the senses of the term, which is in the following of the previous albums.
