Mat Sinner is for most of us known for his job with Primal Fear, but we will find him here in Sinner, his other group since more than 26 years, with its new album “Crash And Burn”. Sinner gives us here a powerful, heavy and melodic metal at the same time. Mat’s voice is powerful, hoarse but stays very often melodic. The guitars playing are efficient, melodic and powerful and the soli are melodic and well at place and the rhythmic section efficient and powerful. The compositions are varied, fast like the first track « Crash & Burn » or the very rock’n’roll « The dog » as well as « Fist To Face », mid tempos with « Break The Silence » with harmonies, whatever they come from the vocals or the guitars levels and a superb solo or « Unbreakable » as well as « Until It Hurts ». « Heart Of Darkness » is a superb track with a guitars harmony.
