AFM Records Tracklist “The Circle Shuts” :
This is the very last album from the German power/thrash metal group Squealer. The tracks are powerful, heavy and aggressive in their great majority like «The Sources Of Ignition », « These Urges » or « Thrasher » but we also have some slower and more mid tempo tracks like « Grey » which looks like to some Paradise Lost’ tracks. The album is a good mix of styles with varied compositions in the rhythms as well as in the vocals. Norbert Vorman can be aggressive vocally speaking as well as he can be more delicate and melodic, sometimes his voice makes me think to Warrel Dane from Nevermore. The choruses are very present especially on the refrains level. Some tracks are dark all staying melodic with good guitars playings, melodic and powerful. The compositions are well structured with a non negligible modern metal side that the fans will appreciate or not.
