Harmony releases its second album“Chapter II : Aftermath”. It is a melodic heavy metal album with a little progressive side. It is a varied album musically speaking but the rhythmics are very often fast. Besides the tracks, in their structures, the guitars lines, the soli are not without letting us think to a certain Yngwie Malmsteen and Rising Force. There is a good compromise between the guitars, heavy and powerful and the keyboards which are very present in the tracks, giving very often the background melodies but also the melodic lines of the tracks. Henrik Bath has a melodic, powerful and well at place voice.
We have as a guest on this album the vocalist Daniel Heiman (former Lost Horizon, Heed) on the track « Inner Peace » and Kristoffer Gildenlöw (former Pain Of Salvation) plays the bass on this album.
If the tracks are rather lively, melodic and well done, they seem as little “convenus”, without great surprise … but it is not for that, that I had not appreciate the album, on the contrary, I like this musicality and this voice… It’s not to my ears to hear a pleasant voice and good melodies !!! They are good musicians who control their instruments and it is an album which deserves a listening if you like melodic metal.
