“This Present Wasteland” is the last album in date from the american group Metal Church. The style of the group is a mix of traditional metal and power and thrash metal. The tracks are melodic with an excellent work from the guitars. What I find bad on this album is that most of the tracks are mid tempos, I would like having more changing in rhythmic and more punch. It does still is that the tracks are well done and that they are excellent musicians. The guitars give good soli and the riffs are much worked. Ronny Munroe ensures perfectly his vocals parts, a mix of Rob Halford and Ronnie James Dio, vocally speaking. « This Present Wasteland » is for me an average album even if there are some good passages.
