If you like power, melody and keyboards, this album «The Second Coming” from the group Eden’s Curse will please you. The tracks are epic and melodic with lively refrains like, among other « Masquerade Ball » or « Sail On ». The compositions ally powerful, with a well present rhythmic section and a well present guitars as well, and the melody, given by the keyboards which are very present but also the guitar which gives powerful and melodic soli. Vocally speaking, also a lot of melody in Michael Eden’s voice. An attractive voice, well at place and appropriated to the songs whatever they are powerful or on the contrary more delicate like « Sail On » for example. The compositions are well written all being classic for the genre. We have a guest on « Angels And Demons », Pamela Moore, present in the « Mindcrime » albums from Queensryche. The keyboards are very often at the origin of the ambiences and the atmospheres of the songs. With Thorsten Koehne at guitars and Ferdy Doernberg at keyboards, we are facing talented musicians who control their instruments.
