« Fragmentation » is the first album of the metal indus group Dexy Corp. The tracks are heavy, powerful, aggressive and cold. The samples are of course very present and all through the album the riffs are saturated even ultra saturated. The ambiences and the atmospheres are heavy and unhealthy. The vocals are aggressive, a little in the Al Jourgensen’s manner. The best tracks of this album are for me “Dark Bliss”, only instrumental and “Lie Is Life”. Personnally I’m not a great fan of this king of music, too cold for me, but I do think that the fans of this kind of music will appreciate it very certainly.
