Abigail Williams is an American symphonic black metal which releases “In the Shadow Of A Thousand Suns”. The vocals are aggressive at wishes and well at place and varied, with some clean vocals little parts. The keyboards at the base of each of the songs because it is them which give all the melodies, the ambiences and the atmospheres, whatever they are under the form of keyboards properly speaking or piano. The orchestrations are much worked and grandiose and some tracks. The tracks have very fast parts where the rhythmic section is powerful and heavy but also passages where keyboards give superb instrumental flies and very beautiful piano passages. Abigail Williams is a little a mix of Dimmu Borgir and Emperor. Of course it is not an album which brings something new to symphonic black metal but the tracks are well done and “In The Shadow Of A Thousand Suns” should interest the fans of the genre.
