This is the review of the single “Live To Rock” containing three titles from the English group Saxon. This is announcing the album which will be released for January 2009 « Into The Labyrinth ».
« Live To Rock » is a good track, rather mid tempo with an irrefutable refrain, an intro at keyboards, irrefutable riffs and an excellent solo. Biff Byford ensures, as usual with brio his vocals parts. We’ll find as a third track « Coming Home » in bottleneck version that is to say in acoustic and in country/blues music style.
It is with impatience that I wait the release of « Into The Labyrinth »…
