« Esprit Maudit » is the second album from the French group Désillusion. The style of the group is classic heavy metal, the one from the 80s. The tracks of the album are relatively epic with vocals in French. The group has an excellent vocalist Jimmy, well at place, melodic, right, and powerful with well varied vocals. The tracks are good compositions which stay however classic and we have good guitars playing, which have a classic side and a good technique level, and good soli from the guitarists. The rhythmic section is efficient and well present.
We have a cover « Rock’n’Roll Secours » from Vulcain and a hidden track « Rock’n’Roll » from Led Zeppelin, excellent.
It is a good album that I have appreciate, however to have seen them twice in live, I find that it is on stage that the group takes all its dimension, so if you have the opportunity to see them, do not hesitate, you won’t be deceive !!!

Line up :
Jimmy (chant) (vocals)
Seb (guitare) (guitars)
Felix (gutiare) (guitars)
Yvon (basse) (bass)
Olivier (batterie) (drums)
