Bieler Bros Records/Replica Records Release : June 2007 Tracklist « The Hierophant » : Grey Sky at Night King's Cross Helena Hierophant Caviar with Maths Landing on Ice Skinner Handlebars to Freedom Day Without Speaking Singing in Solitary Sammy Davis JR's One Good Eye Firedealer Dark Sun Sets Will Have is a group which exists since 1995 and « The Hierophant » is its fourth album after its reformation in 2005. The style of the American group is a mix of metal, hardcore and nu metal. The vocals are also very varied as the vocalist Jeff Jaworski goes from screaming to clear vocals. The songs have very special atmospheres that the passages with dissonant guitars emphasize; the intro « Grey Sky At Night » gives us this impression. Alice Verlant-Jacq is a guest on this album especially on « One Day Without Speaking » and she brings a real plus. The riffs are direct, saturated, powerful, simple but efficient and the rhythmic section, especially the bass is heavy. The one of the tracks can be taken out of this album by its difference is « Caviar With Math » but it is especially « Dark Sun Sets » a ballad where the guitars is not saturated neither distorted. If the album is globally well done, it still is a little too much repetitive and a little too long to me. For the fans of the group and of the genre.
