Marshall Law, which exists since 1987, comes back in the front scene with “Razorhead”. It is a heavy metal album at the same times aggressive and melodic. The tracks are in great majority heavy and powerful with a thrashy side in the riffs. The riffs are very good and given in a hand’s master. The album is a good mix between heavy and powerful songs, fast tracks and even a more than melodic ballad « Nothing Lasts Forever », full of feelings, nearly dark. If the tracks are varied, the vocals are also varied, powerful, melodic, sometimes a little theatrical, other times with special effects which give them a futurist side.
The album has the benefit of a good production giving back all the power of the tracks. At the end it is a powerful, refreshing album even if it is not entirely innovative.

Line up :
Andy Pyke (chant) (vocals)
Dave Martin (guitare) (guitars)
Dave Rothan (guitare) (guitars)
Tom Dwyer (basse) (bass)
Steve Hauxwell (batterie) (drums)
