“The Unseen” is the fourth album of the australian group Eyefear. The style of the group is a melodic and progressive power metal. The album is a good compromise between heavy and powerful passages, fast ones and more delicate and slow parts. The compositions are well structure with good musical arrangements and they always are melodic with an epic side marked for some of them. The musicians are well at place, perfectly controlling their instruments, with a well present technique. Danni Cecati has a powerful, well at place, right and melodic voice at the same time; I think that he brings a lot to the tracks with his power and his vocals dynamic. The keyboards, sometimes piano, are very important in the compositions but not at the detriment of the guitar which brings power and heaviness and has its own parts and soli.
At the end Eyefear gives us a powerful album, well done, to listen if you like the style and the previous albums of the group.
