Duff Mc Kagan’s Loaded has released its EP “Wasted Heart”. We find as leader of the group the bass player Mc Kagan (former Guns’N’Roses/Velvet Revolver). Beside the fact of being bass player, he also is the vocalist and the guitarist with this group. The tracks are well rock’n’roll with somehow punk influences. The compositions are simple, direct and well conceived and varied. It is too bad that it is only an EP because each of the tracks really does it. Vocally the tracks are also catchy with a melodic and well at place voice. On the ballad « Wasted Heart » Duff made me think to some Bruce Springsteen’s ballads … God knows why.
I am expecting with impatience the album which should be released in 2009 … a real album this time.
