Obduktion is a classic death metal greek group which has released « II ». The death metal of the group is direct, brutal with aggressive riffs and the soli are relatively technique, however the tracks stay classic for the genre. Most of the tracks are mid tempos with some changing in rhythmic. The vocals are well at place, direct but I find them too monotonous, relatively little varied. Obduktion is influenced but groups such as Bolt Thrower, Obituary and Deicide. If the guitars are good, I find the drums a little too synthetic, a little like it was programming and not real drums… “II” is a good album but nothing more to stay in our minds.
