Mind Gone Blind is a Scottish group which has released « Liars And Preachers ». The style of the group is a hard rock with influences which are coming right from the 70s in the ZZ Top or the Grand Funk Railroad styles. It is certainly not an innovating album in the style but you’ll go more than 30 years back in the past and you’ll have great time listening it ! The tracks are well conceived with good melodies and good guitars playing and the rhythmic section is well at place. Very often Gary Moyes made me think to Terry Jones, the Pagan Altar vocalist, not especially in the tone but rather in the manner of singing.
To be short, « Liars And Preachers » is an excellent old school hard rock album that you’ll have to discover if you like the style or if you are nostalgic of the 70s.
