If you like traditional, epic and melodic, heavy metal in the Iron Maiden and in the 80s manner, the new album from the group Stormrider « Fate Of the hunter » has everything to please you. All through the album epic tracks where the guitars play in harmony and give melodic and powerful riffs. The soli are excellent with a lot of feeling and melody. It is sure that the groups works its melodies whatever they are vocals or instrumental. Stefan Hebes vocals are well at place and melodic with power and melody, a voice which also seems to be coming right from the 80s. The rhythmics are good, efficient and dynamic. However if the melodies and the tracks are good, the album is missing of one or two “headlines” titles” to be an exceptional album. « Fate Of The Hunter » is however an album to listen to because the group gives a mature album and the potential is here.

Line up :
Stefan Hebes (chant) (vocals)
Ingo Rieger (guitare) (guitars)
Jan Gerbracht (guitare)(guitars)
Daniel Woyke (basse) (bass)
Stefan Lange (batterie) (drums)
