Death Wish

We Slowly Die
A Loop For life

Blott is a young belgian group which has released its first demo « The Death Of Jim’s Postmodernism » awaiting an album, normally for next year. The style of the group can be situated between Tool and Meshuggah but I would also add a hardcore side in the vocals. The four tracks are worked with searched structures, unexpected breaks and relatively varied riffs. The compositions are efficient with musicians who control their instruments, who have a certain technique and who know where they go and who are creative. If as a whole this demo is satisfying, I do think that the sound is not always good, the production is not at its top, but… The group still has a real potential which should be affirmed in the forthcoming album.

Line up :
Quentin Demelenne (chant) (vocals)
Pawel Grzda (guitare) (guitars)
Ludovic Sirtaine (basse)
Laurent Vereylewegen (batterie) (drums)
