La Vieja Guarda is an american hardcore group which has released its first EP « la Vieja Guarda » with I Scream Records. The vocals are not in English but in Spanish. The group makes an old school hardcore with punk influences present in the rhythmics and the riffs. Of course it is far from being revolutionary, this EP is rather nice to listen even if I find the vocals sometimes a little too much approximate… the tracks are in great majority mid tempos. The goal of the group is to give a tribute to old 90s Miami groups.
