If you are fan of the English group Anathema you had probably not have miss the release of its last album in date « Hindsight ». This new album is a compil of some titles of the group in nearly acoustic version. The tracks have the benefit from this of new arrangements. All is in feeling, whatever on the melodies levels, the instruments, the ambiences and the vocals. We find instruments such as cello which bring an intense and melancholic side to the tracks. The keyboards or piano give superb melodies and the guitars give nice arpeggio. You are quickly captured by each of the melodies that the acoustic version improves. Vocally there is not much to say only that all is perfectly interpreted with all the necessary intensity and feeling.
« Hindsight » is here to make us wait until the next album of the group “Horizons” for the end of the year.
