Vinny Stigma, from the legendary hardcore group Agnostic Front, releases its solo album « New York Blood ». The style is a mix of punk and hardcore. The tracks are efficient, direct but not really original. Even if the whole is relatively pleasant to listen, it still is that Vinny’s vocals are often lacking of rightness… The musicians are good and control their instruments especially the guitar players who give good guitars playing and good soli like for example in « we’re Not Alone ». The album is well varied with even songs “to drink” like « Blurry Nights », it is nice to listen but not essential in itself.
