Demon Tool has released some months ago « Soleil Rouge » with Brennus Music. The style of the group is a heavy metal smelling good the 80s, relatively old school. The tracks are relatively catchy musically speaking with melodic riffs and excellent quality soli. The compositions are good and melodic on the musical level … however I have hard time with the vocalist voice … I do not appreciate it, it is the kind of voice that you like or not, I’m in the second lot. The vocals are aggressive, hoarse, nearly thrash and here it is question of taste. The musicians are talented, especially the guitarist, and control perfectly their instruments. I admit that for me the strong point of the group is the guitar which gives good riffs and excellent soli which make richer the tracks.
The album has the benefit of an excellent production which gives back the power of the tracks. For me it is an excellent album, old school, even if I do not like the voice.

Line up :
Chris El Tyranno (chant) (vocals)
Nils (guitare/backing vocals) (guitars/backing vocals)
Nicolas (basse/backing vocals) (bass/backing vocals)
Jérôme (batterie) (drums)
