“Cosmogenesis” is the second album from Obscura. The style of the group is a technique death metal with progressive influences. We find two former members from Necrophagist, Christian Muenzner and Hannes Grossmann, as well as Jeroen Paul Thesseling, former Pestilence. The musiciens technical level is undeniable and can be easily feel in each of the tracks of this album and the influences of the group are much wide. It is the kind of album which will please the amateurs of technique whatever it comes from. The musicians are well at place and the tracks coherent. The vocals are well at place and relatively varied. For the fans of the genre.
