Tracklist “ Spirit Animal” :

If you like all that is atmospheric and progressive this « Spirit Animal” from the American group Zombi should please you. The album is composed with five long tracks where are mixed keyboards and guitars, electric or acoustic, the whole with harmony. The compositions have frequents rhythmic changing, and fortunately I would say, because I do think that the listener would find the time long … As well we have very melodic and rather delicate passages at guitars with keyboards in the background and others a little more heavier (being relative …). The melodies are worked but sometimes are repetitive a little too much on some passages. It is the kind of music that you could easily find on some movies especially the track « Cosmic Powers ».
For the Tangerine Dream, Isis, Tool and even the first Genesis fans.
