Here’s the third opus “Night Electric Night” from the Swedish group Deathstars. The style is a mix of glam gothic rock/metal Indus. It is certainly not an album which will revolutionize the genre but the tracks are well conceived, modern with very present keyboards layers which give “corpse” to the tracks. The tracks all staying simple have good musical arrangements given by the keyboards which can become piano or organ and which give numerous choirs. The compositions are relatively melodic and the group seems to have found a good compromise between the rather delicate keyboards and the more aggressive guitars/vocals duo. These songs have easy remembering refrain which should please the youngest ones but not only. The album is well constructed with fast tracks, others slowest ones and even a ballad. To be short nothing really new with this album but it is nice to listen.
