Pure Reason Revolution is an English progressive/alternative rock group which will release its second album “Amor Vincit Omnia ». The group mixes with talent rather dance rhythmic with more pop passges as well as electro-indus. The tracks have very often double vocals, male and female ones, in harmony, besides the vocals are very pleasant to listen because the two voices are delicate. The compositions are varied and sometimes amazing and are succeeding delicate passages and others heavier and powerful, others more light and warm or on the contrary on the opposite, that is to say, cold. If the riffs are heavy and powerful, for me it is the electro-indus side which can be taken out of this album. « Amor Vincit Omnia » is a much worked album which has to be listening if you like the style and if you are open minded musically speaking.
